Welcome to LAN Lordz!

LAN Lordz is a computer gaming community located in Wichita, KS. We host FREE LAN parties, where participants bring their personal computers to our location and connect to a single network for the purpose of playing competitive multiplayer computer games. We hold scheduled tournaments, give away prizes, and hand out SWAG!

What do I need to know?

To participate, each person must bring their own COMPUTER or CONSOLE SYSTEM (X-Box, Xbox 360, Wii, etc). Our host, WTI, graciously provides the network, power, mouse, monitor, and keyboard for your computer to connect to. Of course, you are welcome to bring your own mouse, monitor, or keyboard if you have something special, or would prefer to use your own hardware. The provided monitors are 15" LCD with a native resolution of 1024x768.

All of our LAN parties are 100% unconditionally guaranteed FREE! Our operating costs are covered by our volunteer hosts, who donate their time and money each month to keep things running. We do, however, gladly accept donations. Any surplus in the budget goes directly toward prizes, cookouts, pizza, etc for the parties.

Where and When is it?

Our LAN parties are regularly scheduled on the second Saturday of each month. The Events begin at 3pm Saturday and end at 6am Sunday! That is not a typo, we are talking about 15 hours of continuous game play for FREE! Of course you are not required to be there the whole time. You can arrive or leave anytime.

Who Can Attend?

The LAN Parties are open to anyone that is capable of playing multiplayer computer games. Minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. We regularly have attendees ranging in age from 8 to over 50 years old. Parents are held responsible for their children. Anyone who is disruptive or who cannot follow the rules will be banned.

What do I need to do to attend?

To attend you must:

  1. Complete and sign the waiver one time. We will keep this on file for when you return. We do renew our waivers yearly, so make sure you're ready to sign a new one in January.
  2. Register HERE each month that you plan to attend.
  3. Bring your PC or Console with the waiver on the second Saturday of the month to Wichita Technical Institute.
